Sounds to me like a bad memory card or the phone is rejecting your card.  Is there a format menu on your phone?  Did you try to card in a card reader on a PC?

Printer will not recognise camera memory card hp p315 photo printer

Was your Lexmark P315 printer able to detect this particular memory card before? Try to re-insert the card - it could be due to a slight communication problem. Have you tried inserting a different known working compatible memory card into the printer's card slot? This could be due to faulty memory card.
Also, please refer to Memory Cards Supported by the Lexmark P315 Photo Jetprinter.

Card reader not workng

Since the problem is intermittent, you need to isolate the problem.

Try to connect your card reader into different USB port of your computer. Or might as well, try to connect it to a different computer, if same problem occur, then the problem could be the memory card or the card reader itself.

Try to remove and re-insert the memory card to the card reader. If you get the same problem, try to insert a known working memory card to the reader. This will let you know if the problem is the card or if it's the reader.

Thank you and good luck!

I have a HP PSC 1610 All in one printer and I tried putting my media card in the SD slot and it tries to read the card but the red light flashes and says memory card error. HELP Please!

If using the Card Reader -

The HP all-in-one has detected an error with the memory card.

1. More than one memory card is inserted in the HP all-in-one.

2. An incompatible camera is connected through the camera port.

3. A memory card is inserted and a digital camera is connected at the same time.

Solution:

Remove and reinsert the memory card. It may be inserted incorrectly. If the problem continues, the memory card may be defective.

Remove one of the memory cards. Only one memory card can be used at a time.

Check the user guide that came with the camera to see if it supports PictBridge. If it does not, try using the cable that came with the camera to connect the camera to the USB port on the back of the HP all-in-one instead of to the HP all-in-one camera port. If the camera does support PictBridge, make sure the camera is set to PictBridge mode. See the user guide that came with the camera for instructions on how to do this.
Remove the memory card or disconnect the camera. Only one can be used at a time.

You might try the following - Reformat the memory card in the camera or format the memory card in a Windows XP computer by selecting the FAT format.
Hope this helps!

Have a HP 2175 all in one. in the front how do I insert the camara memory card ? or is this possible?

You can only insert a memory card if it is made to be inserted in that printer.
If yours works like mine, you must remove a blank "slug" before you can insert a memory card. The slug is shaped exactly like the memory card. And more that that, when you remove the slug, you must look at the slug to see how it is orientated. In that way, you can tell how to insert the real memory card.
Most of them have a corner missing, as if it had been removed, or cut off. If you then line up the memory card to match the way the slug came out of the printer, you can then put the memory card into the printer the way it is supposed to go and that way, it will be "read" by the printer.
I hope this helps.

How do you transfer photos from memory card inserted in HP C5280 printer to my computer?

You cannot read that memory card inserted in HP printer to your Computer because that HP Card Reader port is only for direct access printing from memory card.

All you have to do is use a Multi-memory card reader into the PC where connected to USB port.

I'm sure 100 works!
Good luck!

I have put my minut SD phone photo memory card into the Smart Media slot.Help! Please is there any way to remove it?

I'm guessing you put your micro cd card in a sd slot without the adapter? This is a trick you can do to remove something that is no lodged in there too bad. You may have to go an auto parts store for this but it should work. Take a paper clip and open it. On the end, you need to snip off a small piece of tire plugand pull it down the wire a little but make sure there is a small bead at the end. Now insert into the slot gently and try pulling back bringing the card with it. The tire plug material is very sticky but won't leave any residue to gum up the works.

How to use the memory card reader

To access the memory card reader without using the software provided, follow the steps below. If no card is inserted, the green light on the card reader will be on.
Insert a memory card.
• Insert the card with the brand name label facing up.
• If there is an arrow on the card, make sure it points toward the printer.
• If needed, make sure you connect the memory card to the adapter that came with it before inserting it into
the slot.
Wait for the light located to the right of the slots on the printer to come on. The light blinks to indicate the memory
card is being read or is transmitting data.
• The printer recognizes one memory card at a time. If you insert more than one memory card, a message appears
on the display prompting you to remove all memory cards inserted.
• If a USB flash drive is inserted together with the memory card, a message appears on the display prompting you
to choose which memory device to use.
When reading of images is complete, the number of photos found appears on the display. Then you can make your selection and print. these are the types of memory card supported by you printer.

• Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC)

Yes, these are both related to the memory card slots the printer provides. When a memory card is inserted in the printer slot the card will be available as a drive on the computer, and files may be copied to and from the card.

To ensure data safety wen removing the card after writing files to it from the computer it is best to use the "Remove Hardware Safely" icon from the system tray.

Memory Card

Unplug and tilt the printer so that it's facing down. Shake gently. If you get it out, you'll need to get a sd/mmc adapter. It usually comes with the card. It will make the card the same size as the SD card.
