You have to re-install for instance; Mirage OS and, have Mirage OS uninstall itself. Your calculator will be locked up if you don't. It is almost impossible to fix. I was lucky one time that, I was able to re-install it to have it take itself off.
In the desert, a mirage is produced by the incurvation of the light rays due the presence of a strong temperature gradient close to the ground. In view of this physical fact, is it any surprise that Mirage OS makes your screen appear slanted? To restore you calculator to its normal state delete the Mirage and you will straighten the screen.
Hope it will help you recover proper eyesight.

If you can upload it to the computer, you can open it with prgm editers, and they should have a selection for protecting the prgm. The editer i used was TI-program editer, unfortunately, new windows updates made that program impossible to use on Windows XP and TI didn't update it or anything so yeah...I don't know about vista though, you can try that. Another way is to open the file through Mirage OS and 'lock' the program. To make basic prgms visible in mirage, simply put a : at the very first line. The problem with this method is that anyone with Mirage can unlock it and change it...
yo i had the same problem, i ended up going back to os 2.40 - alot of times when oyu download mirage its from an unreliable source. the same thing happened to me cuz i wanted to play mario, but it isnt worth ******* up the insdes of the calculator man.
It is possuble that you have run out of archive space. To clear some up, press 2ND - MEM (the + key), 2 then 1. This will give you a list of all things on your calculator. Some of these may be neccessary for some math courses, but you can always put them back on later, so you can remove anything you want from here without any irreversable effects. Delete anything you don't need (excluding the games and Mirage, of course) by moving next to it with the up and down arrow keys and pressing the DEL key.
