Sorry, but the Uniden Bearcat BCT8 is an analog-only scanner, and there is no magic that will enable it to receive and process digital signals. EDACS, however, is NOT a digital system. It's discussed at length in the BCT8 operating manual, which also contains step-by-step programming instructions for EDACS systems. turn off scanner hold down the state/highway the number 2 and 9 then while holding the 3 buttons turn your scanner back on while holding the state/highway, 2 and 9 buttons if you did everything correct you will see a clear message show up and about 2 seconds later hear a beep
