i found that my WLAN is not being detected any more, when ever i restart Wirelsess switch only bluetooth get disable and enable and not the WLAN as its not detected.

i have done BIOS update and reinstalling drive but none seems to be working, can you help me how can i resolve this issue?

What I have learn, if your pc is still covered under warranty they will repair it, but, the issue will return. It is an integration issue with the chipset being used. So, nothing short of a redesign motherboard will correct it. It will happen again. I’m pushing to have this design defect computer swapped with something else that doesn’t have this issue. I don’t know if I will get anywhere with this approach, but this is the only solution I would be will to except. That said, I doubt I’ll ever purchase another HP product again. I will make it a point to inform family and coworkers of how HP is handling this issue.

This is just my opinion, but if you want to extend the life of your tx1000 series tablet, run it in battery save mode ONLY. This helps keep the chipset from overheating and failing. Sad thing for me, this is what allowed mine to last past the warranty.

How to downgrade vista to winxp pro at Hp pavilion DV4-1204TU ?

Well, this may make you think twice:

I bought a presario from circuit city last year, and I paid $200 to downgrade to XP. Everything was fine until it crashed last week. IT went completely bizzerk. HP won't provide support, cause I changed it. Circuit City is out of business, not much help there.

Basically, I am completely #$%%@@.

I am now paying to get Vista put back in. :-(

Wlan card missing in device manager.Tell me how to enable WLAN card through bios or any other way...

I don't know but you can still connect to the Internet by Modem or Ethernet. You might contact HP or give it to the retail where you bought.

NOTE: If you bought it from an auction, talk to the owner of it and ask him/her about where to buy it.

Hp pavilion ze5500 display monitor still doesn't work

IT could be a motherboard problem with the function key that controls the switching of the video infomation between the LCD screen and the external video connector.
It could be the function key circuitry on the motherboard that controls the back lighting levels on the LCD.

Notebook monitor not working

Turn out the room lights and see if have a correct, but real dim, display. If you do, then you have a bad inverter or back light. If you don't, then you have a loose LCD cable connector, bad LCD cable or bad CD.

HP pavilion wireless uninstalled itself

I have the exact same issue with a wireless card. Most likely the card is bad. The driver is not uninstalling itself, it simply can't see the hardware and is therefore not listed. Change out the card, and it should resolve the issue.
