My sansa screen is showing Arabic, I need to reset it to English.

power up by sliding up the power button on the left side, 'til it lights up. If it's not at the main menu with some picture icons (Settings, Music, Voice, FM Radio), then press the 'lil HOME button. Then scroll up or down to get to the SETTINGS menu (thats the one with the icon of four EQ switches on a board with animation of the 2 middle switches movin' up and down). Press the middle button (or right ">>I" on the circular pad). You should be at the Settings menu, scroll up or down and highlight the LANGUAGE option. Best way to find it when set in any language on this menu.... see an option that has some foreign text then FM? Thats the FM settings option, and the one above that is the LANGUAGE settings option, so highlight that one and press the middle button ( or right ">>I" on the circular pad), and you should be in language menu. Just scroll up or down to ENGLISH and press the middle button ( or right ">>I" on the circular pad). HTH!

I have sansa 4gb. i recorded some songs and its stored in voice module. when i transferred it to my computer using cut paste option, the files are not getting deleted in sansa.i can neither do the same in...

probably the memory it has some kinda option for the files...like read only ..or delete protection ...try to rest it to factory settings ..using the rest button ..or by removing the battery ..This should fix the issue ..or ..get into the memory settings and see what is the issue ..under options ..
If this is happening only with the internal memory ..or with voice module ...area..than only there you should look under options ..and see
usually the cut will not function ...but they should be able to be deleted when you delete them using the device's own menu ..

I have an option on my sandisk sansa fuze mp3 player for voice recordings. There is pre-recorded literature that I would like to download, but, I only know how to download these voice recordings under...

You can't. Audiobooks are just like music, and the Sansa treats them that way. Think of them as words spoken without music.

Voice recordings are made on the Sansa, when you use it as a digital recorder. You can record lectures, meetings, or notes to yourself, and play them back.

MY MP3 PLAYER KEEPS SAYING FILE SYSTEM ERR

you have to generate the system file in your player. you can doing this by recording your own voice or recording a fm station song(if the option is present) and save it to the device. after that reset your device and upgrade it using the firmware manager from the software cd . but this will format your device and all the data will be lost

Philips SA4010 1 gig really only half a gig!

1 Gb player should have around 894Mb or more of free space. The rest is taken up by the directory and firmware files.

Try running the Device Manager software on the product CD and use the repair option.
