Code "d" means the microwave is in "Demo Mode".
Push and hold the "Kitchen Timer" pad for 5 seconds until you hear two beeps.
If you check carefully, You may also find this info in your user Manual under "Demo/Learning" feature

Hope you can help me? I have lost the user manual for my kettle (Morphy Richards model 43015). Just switched it on not realising it was empty and now it won't work. I seem to think there was a cut out...

Nearly (maybe all) small appliances with a heating element are equipped with a thermal fuse. This prevents the meltdown of heating elements, most of which are encased in aluminum. These fuses are not only unreliable (China is the biggest supplier) but generally unavailable as replacement parts since they are most often spot-welded to the ends of the heating element and would have to be replaced in the same way since solder melts at a much lower temperature.
I would suggest you replace the pot.

My micro runs but won t heat when I start it, it makes 5 clicking sounds every 30 seconds it was installed in Jan 1999

I would first suggest that you check the door switches.

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

If you only need a switch, you can order a universal type here for $5 postpaid.

Especially if your cooktop lights recently went bad, you may have a problem with your control circuit board.

You can order one here, or we can repair yours for $39.95 in most cases.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Microwave stopped heating up the food. Everything works except for the heating mechanism.

Check the door safety interlock switches. Remove the cover to find these small micro switches on the side away from the hinges.

GE PROFILE PURCHASED 2006 RUNS BUT NO HEAT MICRO/CONV MODEL JEB1095BB

HI. in most cases, this will lead to a failed Heating device(magnetron tube). It would be wise to check the Magnetron cutoff fuse to be sure of its integrity. if the fuse is blown, simply replace it. if the fuse continues to show continuity, replace the magnetron.

(((The fuse is located inside the unit along side the magnetron)))

No heat micro keeps cycling through all programsdemo in cook/bx

My GE doesn't have a Demo mode but say we have a power failure. It won't let me use it until I set the clock.

Try that and see if it helps

Samsung microwave oven turntable doesn't turn now. Is it ok to still use to heat/cook food ? What is the problem with it ?

Yes it just will not cook or defrost very evenly. It is not dangerous however.

Probably the motor or gears that make the turntable go are worn or burnt out.

Microwave panasonic model nn 6358 about 10 years old

In most cases, you press Clock, enter the numbers for the time, then press Clock again, or possibly press Start.

Sometimes you have to press Clock, Clear numbers, then Clock or Start.

Or Clear, Clock, numbers, then Clock or Start.

In some older models, they had a very small mechanical clock button located at the top right corner of the controller near the display window. If yours has that, press it, then the numbers, then that button again or Start.

If this doesn't do it for you, could you post a clear photo of your control panel?
