Rane SSE-35 Home Equalizer

Looking for parametric EQ

By Horner - usenet poster

I am looking for a 4 - 5 band parametric EQ for a home theater
application.
Does anyone have a recommendation?

I noticed that most of the parametric eq's do not have 1/4" RCA jacks,
is this because
most of the parametric eq's are used in recording studios?

I have a problem in the 60 100 hz range.
I have a Rane SSE35 EQ and I can not attenuate
that range of frequencies enough. The rane can only attenuate -6db, I
figure I need
at least 12 more db of attenuation. I was hoping I could use a
parametric eq to notch out
the problem frequency and bring down the whole band to within reason.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you got that much of a problem down there, there ain't any EQ in
the world that will solve it. Fix your room acoustics so you don't
have that standing wave problem.
