Question about Roper REX4634KQ Electric Dryer
My Roper Dryer model # RED4405Q0 keeps shutting off several times during the drying cycles. I have to turn it back on several times for it to finish drying.
The motor may be getting hot due to bad rolers idler or glide. You need to take the machine apart and oil it. While you have it broken down you may want to turn the motor and see if it is stiff. The motor can be oiled but it is tricky. there are no oil ports you must make some. I use zoomspout oiler from ace hardware. Its high temp resistant formula and viscosity is perfect for dryers and HVAC needs.
I have various essays on accessing these machines and diagnosis HERE
