SOURCE: How do you clean the unloader valve on a power washer pump?

The unloader valve usually is replaced. I dont know if you can get o-rings for it. But if you want to take it apart, there will be a crown or cap style nut just below the spring. Unscrew it completely and you will be able to remove the spool. There is just a series of o-rings on it.

SOURCE: I can't connect the garden hose to the water inlet

Karcher electric pressure washers typically are supplied fitted with the male half of a standard Hozelock connector. You need the female half secured to the end of your hose, and then they just click together.

SOURCE: karcher pressure washer works only with low pressure

The inlet screen orientation is of no consequence. Either way should work fine. Check two things...

1) Many of the spray nozzles have a high and low setting at the tip of the wand (where the water comes out). See if your nozzle has any "Push-Pull" movement (with the unit turned off). If so, it might be set in the "LOW" setting and needs to be changed.

2) Located on some SIDE MOUNTED pumps is a "Variable-Volume" adjustment. It may need to be turned to increase the flow and should be marked with a plus (+) and minus (-) along with direction arrow.
NOTE: If your pump is mounted on the bottom of your engine you will not have this adjustment.
Hope this helps!

SOURCE: Karcher G2600 VH - low water pressure

If the spill valve activates is "spills" water under the washer. There is a restriction or the pump has become inefficient and will not pump the volume and pressure it should at full RPM.

Grey oil leak and no water pessure

depends on where the oil leaks from , normally a cloudy or "grey" oil sheen ,oozing out from here and there doesnt consern me too much , but now the oil running from the big hole or crack in the housing now that conserns me , make sure unit is "primed" with water (small flow from tip with motor off but hose turned on) if still no good then cycle your unloader a few times by tunring the pressure adjustment all the way up and all the way down with water on and motor runninng , this should work unless you have a larger problem

No pressure...new pump

Gun could be the problem if you hear the engine pick up speed and you can feel the pressure on the hose.if engine speed doesn't increase than there is a governor issue with the engine.

How do I fix a Karcher 2600 PSI pressure washer has water in oil..

you mean water in the pump oil ??? or engine oil ???

im suspecting pump oil... you didn\'t seal it properly or you have a crack somewhere in the main housing. rarely is it viable to repair these pumps... if you search a little you can find replacements pretty damn cheap !!!

suspect water in oil... just change the oil and see if it returns. it's very rare that a pressure pump can get water into the engine

Pressure surges up and down?

You need to expel all of the air that has ran through the supply hose and into the pump. Do this without the machine running. Squeeze the trigger and let the water run through the machine for 30 seconds or until all the air has bled through. You can the turn the machine on.
Cheers Ziggy.

IT HAS PRESSURE BUT IT PULSATES INSTEAD OF STEADY SPRAY

I have same model with same problem. Tried the easy fixes:
unloader valve lube and clean, inlet water sufficient, and nozzles and hose are fine. Broke down pump and called for parts (about $50 for 3 inlet valves and some seals) hopefully this will fix it. Mine has been used in my business pretty hard for a few years, so not bad.

Accidently put 2 cycle gas into Karcher G2600VH, Drained gas,Took spark plug out and cleaned. It is running fine now is there anything I should do in addition

Placing 2 cycle gas into a 4 cycle engine does not cause problems (but will blow white smoke and, in time, dirty the plug). I would have probably just ran it through.
:o).

If you can't get it out with needle nose pilers try turning the garden hose pressure on and the water should pop it out.
