Clean all files in the TEMP folder, uninstall all programs/games etc etc that u dont use or play, store photos, music etc on cds or dvds

That will free space on you C drive, or you can buy an external drive and move files to the external drive.

Probably one of biggest hogs on a hard drive is itunes. If you're using it you may want to purchase an external hard drive (or a decent sized USB thumb drive), copy your music and video over to a folder on the external and change the settings in itunes for the target folder to the new folder you've created on the external.

Beyond this you may want to prune out some of the application software you don't use by going to the add/remove software section.

Start by running the "Disk Cleanup" from the accesories menu
This will clean up any Temporary files and junk that's not needed.

Next from the control panel/programs and features, uninstall any unwanted programs.

Next run the Defrag from accesories menu.

This should be a good start.

Solution of low disk space

HARD DISK MAINTENANCE TO KEEP COMPUTER RUNNING EFFICIENTLY.

Hard disk maintenance should be carried once a month to make your computer run efficiently.
This removes redundant and temporary files, recovers disk space and speed up hard disk access.
Disk Cleanup should be done first - Click My Computer - then right click on the C drive then click Properties, then click Disk Cleanup - let it examine the C drive then it will calculate the amount of disk space it will recover, tick all the boxes to recover the maximum disk space and then Click OK and then Yes to perform these actions. If you have a D drive then repeat these steps on this drive too.
Next the C drive needs to be Defrag. This process converts fragmented files into continuous files and this speeds up disk access and makes the hard disk not work as hard. Click on Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Disk Defragmenter - click to highlight the C drive and click Analyse - then click Defragment.
When this is completed repeat these steps for the D Drive if you have a D drive.
Disk Cleanup and Defrag can take a long time to complete, especially if these tasks have not been for a long time.

My laptop keeps posting low disk space. how can I fix this?

You need to delete items to free up space. Not much else, but maybe run a defrag and disk cleanup.

My laptop is in low disk space it was very lag

It would be wise to buy an external Hard Drive and transfer some files to it (especially pictures, video, music that you don't need often).

Why does my laptop show low disc space?

Hello

The low disc space message refers to the amount of free disc space on your c drive. The c drive is the drive on which your windows is installed, thus yu need to delete some games or not neccesary files to free up some space on your drive. Hope this can help you.

Kind regards

LAPTOP TELL ME i HAVE LOW DISK SPACE

This means your Harddrive(HDD) is nearly full with files and there is no more room to save/work on the harddrive.
You will have to delete some saved files or to uninstall some programs that you are not using anymore, this will create some free space on your HDD. Also do a right click on the Recycle bin/Empty recycle bin and it wil clear some space... If you need more help, let me know, I am happy to help you...
