Will it feed in to the tricaster at all?? if it does not then check your input typer and make sure its set to s-video and not composit, if it is working then make sure your connected to the correct output, the tricaster has alot of them and honestly i could only get the one's on the first card to ever work, also try feeding into it from the output on the front.

How to connect a playstation 2 to a year 2000 rca tv model number f32665

I have no knowledge of the playstation or its output connections but your TV has three phono sockets from what I can tell Yellow is the video feed and is needed to "open" your set to work otherwise will stay blank, Red is Right hand audio, White is Left hand audio.
Your set also has a S-Video socket which with a correct lead combination would give better clearer pictures its audio feed are those two sockets beside it, as above description. Your TV menu may have sub options you need to check on as my TV has one scart but I can select three different input types for it with only one working with a certain type of equipment.
Also your playstation may have to be adjusted (settings) to give a suitable output before connecting. A video I had came with an internal modulator which was factory set to OFF but my TV had NO other sockets had to find a friend use their TV to access its menu and turn it on!
Anyway your set will require a video feed to operate its internal switching system plug a phono lead into the yellow socket set your TV to the correct input (you might see screen flashes if you scrape the other ends connector with a metal object, quite safe for all concerned) this will check this part, then try sockets and settings on your playstation, when OK add the audio.

Hi how can i connect from my pc's s-video socket to a projector which has a jack socket? I have all the right cables I've been told to press fn f4 but my pc doesn't have fn

If it's a laptop, they've usually got a vga connector on the rear panel which you can use to connect to an external monitor...or a projector if it's got the same (vga) connector. If your projector only has a jack socket, then that's not a standard connector for a video input and maybe you should consult your projector's user guide for clarification of the connectors (are you sure your jack socket isn't actually a phono or RCA socket? if it is, then your laptop video output signal probably isn't compatible with the projector as there's no way to make s-video output feed anything other than a s-video input (different signal levels and standards) Regards, nicam49

How do I connect my ipod/iphone to my technics hi fi/stereo? What cables do I need? Susan

Any audio device that has a headphone output can be adapted to feed an RCA cable pair for standard stereo to any audio device with a standard RCA input (except one labeled "PHONO"). Get a cable like the one described here: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021804&p_id=665&seq=1&format=2
and connect it into any available analog input EXCEPT one labeled "Phono".

I have the Sony VPL CS1 projektor and want to connect it to my tv, so that i can watch television channels on the big projektor screen, is this possible?

if your TV has video output signals for the program you are watching, then you can connect them to the projector.
otherwise you may need to get a cheap digital set top box and tune to the same tv program, and use the video output to feed the projector

Video Connections

These are all the connectors on the back. The "1 x component video output" indicates that you can use the "3 color video cord" you have, better known as Component Video Cable.

Connector Type: 1 x HDMI ( 19 pin HDMI Type A ) - rear ¦ 1 x component video output ( RCA phono x 3 ) - rear ¦ 1 x S-Video output ( 4 pin mini-DIN ) - rear ¦ 1 x composite video output ( RCA phono ) - rear ¦ 1 x audio line-out ( RCA phono x 2 ) - rear ¦ 1 x 5.1 channel audio line-out ( RCA phono x 6 ) - rear ¦ 1 x digital audio output (coaxial) ( RCA phono ) - rear ¦ 1 x digital audio output (optical) ( TOSLINK ) - rear ¦ 1 x network ( RJ-45 ) - rear ¦ 2 x USB - front

How do i connect my projecter with my pc

Hi,

Your Sharp XR-10X will only allow video inputs through the:
1. RGB/ component input (15-pin HD)
2. composite video input (RCA phono color yellow)
2. S-Video input ( 4 pin mini-DIN )

Depending on the output(s) available from your PC, you can use any of the following:
a. the yellow RCA female
b. S-Video output (4 pin mini-DIN )
c. VGA (which normally goes to the monitor) but would require a VGA/HD to HDMI Format Converter such as the one here

Should this be not enough information, please post back with what PC brand/model that you have. Additionally please specify what Video Card are you using if your PC is a desktop.

Good luck and kind regards.
