Cannot remove backing

I have a Brother PT65 and have not used it for some time. I printed a label but cannot remove the backing. Do all the labels have backing? If so, how can I remove it?

My Brother PT65 label maker powers up and when I push print...the rollers turn but the label does not print or come out.

Take out your label cart and pull the tape a bit. If it is hard to pull, it is jammed inside. Just keep gently pulling until it frees up. If this is the problem, it should work when you replace the tape cart. Had the same problem with mine yesterday - it now works.

When printing a label on brother QL-1050 printer comes up with error "Either BOF or EOF is true or the current record has been deleted Requested operation requires a current record" I have removed...

I solved this problem by pressing "Control N" to bring up a new label. Works fine that way.
This is the answer Brother gave when I called them:

Description of Problem 100000003722
When I click print I receive the error message: Either BOF or EOF is true, or the current record has been deleted.
Description of Solution 200000004488
This error message occurs when you print a label that has no record in the database table.
To avoid this error message, click on Database menu, select Create New Record.

How to print adhisive labels using mfc 7340

Buy laser-specific adhesive labels. Those that say "Laser printer compatible". If you have an inkjet printer, print the labels with it, with the laser is more risky because of the temperature the paper needs to get in the printing process. If one label gets out of the support paper or the paper gets sticky inside the printer, it will cause a real mess.
Try inkjet first, or buy high-quality labels and print one full sheet at a time, not label by label.

Brother P-Touch 1200 label printer doesn't feed whole label

Take out your cartridge and look at the end of the tape, it should be under the guide, the skinny bar, before going into your machine. Make sure you tuck it in under that bar and it should be OK.

With a pt 65, how do I reduce the size of the print?

Cook,

With the unit powered up, press and hold the yellow Code button. While holding it down, press the & key and watch the pointer at the top of the screen. Note how it is moving to the various size As. That will increase and decrease your font size.

Labeling system trouble-shooting

I thought the PT65 took a thermal tape that didn't have an ink ribbon. Compare the part number on the tape cassette with the list of compatible types listed in the labeller's instruction manual. Believe the only compatible cartridges are: M-Knnn/B, where NNN is one of 221, 222, 223, 231, 232, 233, 521, 531, 621 or 631, or M-K221S/B or M-K231S/B A.
