Well Dear Rohit your problem is not clear but still for a number of such problems are due to the RAM not functioning properly. this happens due to dust in RAM slot. you may try to change the slot of RAM to an empty slot. If the problem does not end then check whether your processor heat sink fan is working? If not then get it replaced. Hopefully it will not happen again. Don't forget to rate the solution.

there are too many causes which result in hanging.
You might be using some software which uses your all resources ie. > 60% CPU and/or 100% of RAM in this case your system may hang
  • To fix it notice on which program it gets hangs, if there is any specific one it need to be check-out or uninstall.
Your RAM might cause hanging.
  • Reseat your RAM, remove RAM clean its contact points and place it gently at its position. Or you have to change your RAM.
Over Heat CPU may cause hanging.
  • Check that CPU fan is ok and its working properly.
  • Your motherboard might be dusty, which cause short cuirtkit
  • clean your motherboard with vaccume cleaner.
