Hi,
Outlook express is installed by default when you install windows xp on your computer. If it is not installed then you can install it manually.Go through following steps --

1) Click on start ->Settings -> Control Panel
2) Open Add/Remove Programs
3) Click on Add/Remove Windows Component
4) Now Select Outlook Express and click on Next.

It will install Outlook express on your machine. If it ask for I386 folder while installing then just put your windows xp CD in your CD drive and click ok.

Thanks

For creation of backup I used this tool, try:
Outlook Express is one of the most popular mail clients at the moment. Its popularity is attributed to the fact that it is included in the distribution package of all Windows operating systems starting from version 95 OSR2. It is absent from Windows Vista and later in Windows 7 where another mail client is used - Microsoft Mail. So, users quite often encounter the problem of backing up information from Outlook Express. You can solve it with Outlook Express Backup Toolbox.

Trying to get all my email from a XP Pro outlook express to a new windows 7 machine with Outlook 2003 installed. I have copied all of the :stored Folder: of outlook express onto the windows 7 machine,...

You must save (Export) the Express files as .pst files and then import them into Outlookk 2003 using the Import command.
The Import and Export functions can be found under the File tabs for Express and 2003.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks.

Where is outlook express in ie7? so i can setup my mail settings.

Outlook express is not actually in internet explorer, it is it's own program. If you click on start and click on email at the top usually outlook express is the default that will open up.

Otherwise you can find it by clicking start, going to programs and locating it. Or you can click start, go to search, and type in outlook and it will find it for you =).
