Dear singer. it seems like your RAM is not working properly. You need to change its slot to an empty one. Hopefully you will not have this problem any longer. Don't forget to place rating to this solution.

Sir iam recently purchaged the intel d845glly motherboard i can swiched on the cpu it is no display in moniter what is that problem

YOU MAY HAVE TO GO INTO BIOS TO FIX THAT WHICH YOU SHOULD NOT DO.I SET MY BIOS PERFECTLY AND TYPED A RANDOM PASSWORD WITHOUT LOOKING JUST TO KEEP ME OUT OF IT.YOU CAN DESTROY YOUR PC IF NOT KNOWING WHAT YOU DOING.SO BRING COMPUTER TO LOCAL COMPUTER TECH SHOP..WAIT SO THERE`S NO DISPLAY WHEN YOU START UP OUT ALL WELL THEN FORGET ABOUT THE BIOS THING YOUR MOTHERBOARD DOES`NT SUPPORT YOUR MONITOR MOST LIKELY.SO YEA YOU MUST BRING YOUR PC AND MONITOR IN FOR SERVICE THE MONITORS FINE BUT JUST BRING IT TO SHOW THEM YOUR PROBLEM..THEN YOU WILL ALRIGHT....HOPE THIS HELPS!

Boot up beep codes, intel d845glly

here is a list of all beep codes : http://www.cas411.com/ShowArticle.aspx?ID=54
try to identify the beep pattern, it should tell you what's wrong. Most of the time, it's a bad memory stick.

Bios problem

hi im josh in cebu phils. may i help you? Friend if it gives one beep and no display. the problem is either the memory or the video only. because this hardware gves this sign if deffective. First thing to do is to check your video card or video connections if it is connected properly and firmly.tighten firmly the video card on the mainboard if you are using video card.or 2nd try to to clean your memory bank or your memory chip with an pencil erase, try to do it slowly.then install it firmly tighten in your memory bank. thats all if it still occurs the same prblem try to replace your memory or the video card. Good luck friend. Hope i helped you.

Probblen in Additinol RAM

Hi Raj_jp, the Intel D845GLLY board must have SPD memory to function correctly in the system. The memory you added (512MB) must not support SPD. To help you understand what SPD is, you can click on this link which explains what SPD is.
http://searchcio-midmarket.techtarget.com/sDefinition/0,,sid183_gci533524,00.html#

The memory sold in this next link will function in you're Intel motherboard. http://www.memory-up.com/Memory/IntelD12696.html
So will the memory in this next link.
http://www.memorystock.com/memory/IntelD845GLLY.html
If you bought the 256MB memory recently, you should be able to return it & have it exchanged. The link above also lists the part number for the memory.

Good Luck!
Remember you're Intel motherboard uses you're system memory to run the onboard video card. The total amount of memory the video card uses can be adjusted higher or lower. You can adjust this in the bios. Go to Advanced Menu. Page 40 in the Intel user manual. You can download you're manual at this link.

Intel 845 glly board please solve the problem

Hi Nadeem Nawaz,

No board will show display without memory. Your motherboard must run memory type;
Two DIMM sockets supporting 3.3 V (only) 168-pin 133 MHz Single Data Rate (SDR) SDRAM DIMMs with gold-plated contacts.
Unbuffered non-ECC DIMMs only.
Maximum total system memory: 2 GB; minimum total system memory: 64 MB.
Serial Presence Detect (SPD) DIMMs only.

Intel link showing memory specifications.

http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d845glly/sb/cs-012825.htm

If your memory is within Intel's memory specifications & you are not getting display on your monitor. It is possible that the integerated on board graphics (Shown on page 13 in your user manual), may be defective.
You can add a PCI video card to the PC. The Intel D845GLLY will auto detect the PCI video card. No need to enter the bios & make changes.
Please keep this in mind. The integrated video card is PCI, if it has failed, there is a good chance it will not see the PCI add in video card. If you can find a used (Working) PCI video card to test in the PC.
