Kyosera mita 2020 error code c-4000

Hi am kyocera certified Tech and here is your problem and the solution, hope everything will be fine:

c4000
The Problem:
Polygon motor synchronization problem
The polygon motor does not reach the
stable speed within 15 s of the START
signal turning on

Causes:

1-Poor contact in the
polygon motor connector
terminals.
Reinsert the connector. Also check for continuity
within the connector cable. If none,
remedy or replace the cable

2-Defective polygon
motor.
Replace the LSU.

3-Defective engine PCB
Replace the engine PCB and check for correct operation.

This wat the service manual say about this error code but as Tech i recommand for you to do this steps before changing any part and this 60% could fix your problem.

First of all open the back of your machine and make sure there is no cable connector is lose, specially those cables that connected to motors, unplug those cables and plug them again, also make sure that the paper fader cable is connected well. after this put the machine on and off and do this steps:

In the operation panel hit 1087 twice, and this will take you to maintenance mode , then select 906 and hit start, look for the words in the screen, hightlight it and hit start again, the machine may be will tell you put the main power off and on, do this and you will be ok.
