Why Dont People Like The X-33??

I have gone on Ebay, Watch net, And Time Zone and have noticed that a handfull
of people are selling them, but knowone is buying them! There is a guy on ebay
that is selling one and I think I have seen it reposted like three times! Is
there something wrong with it? I just dont understand it, I think its a pretty
neat looking watch, not to mention a conversation piece, so I am wondering why
none of them are being sold. Any insight would be welcome. Thanks.

It seems unreasonably big to me. The LCD readout design is NOT
appealing to me at all. It just looks like a big oversized monster to
me, too bad they didn't give it some careful (artistic) design
consideration. IMHO

Titanium is expensive to manufacture into finished products and doesn't have the same flashy look and weighty feel some want. Same for the mostly gray lifeless dial. It was also viewed by some as overpriced at the time, though interest of late has grown considerably. See http://watches.ryanrooney.com/X-33/

The X-33 has been developed for space operations and has been tested and cleared for space missions and as such is a function over form item so it is pointless complaining about the size. Ones I have seen on Ebay are heavily over priced, they are normally discounted by retailers to about 1/2 RRP.

size and looks are matters of taste. The problem with the x33 is that it needs a new battery every two years. On the original model the 4 push pins kept falling out. On my current version the alarm won't work.
All that aside it's my favorite watch for day-today wear
