Question about Compaq (261671-001) Motherboard
When i am starting sys , with in 10 mins getting power off, what would be the problem.
Overheating is the first thing I would check. Both in your system case and your power supply. It could be any number of things but based on the information you provided that what to check.

Tips for a great answer:
Feb 07, 2011 | ASUS P5GZ-MX Motherboard
Mar 29, 2010 | ASUS P4PE2-X Motherboard
Oct 25, 2009 | Intel Motherboard
Front Panel Header pin assignments as follows:
Pins 2 + 4 = Power Led
Pins 6 + 8 = Power Switch
Pins 12 + 14 = LAN Activity Led
Pins 1 + 3 = HDD Led
Pins 5 + 7 = Reset Switch
Pin 9 = +5v
Pins 11 + 13 = ODD Led
Pin formation is as below with no pin in position 10.
2 4 6 8 10 12 14
1 3 5 7 9 11 13
You will probably need to extend the Front Panel connector cable to reach the header pins on a replacement motherboard - I did this with 2 x N76HL 10 pin extension cables (male to female) from Maplin.
