Microphone makes a static sound when it gets moved. The static comes through the speakers when the microphone is held in different positions. Could it be the cord or the connection to the mic?

Make sure your connections are clean and tight. There may also be an intermittant or broken wire in the cord. See if you can narrow the problem down by holding some parts of the wire stationary and moving other areas. gently shake the mike with the set off and listen closely for loose parts making noise. (The idea is to eliminate the areas that are good and what's left is broken.) Hope this helps

ED 8000

You need to replaced the "voice coil". that thing that youve been desoldering and soldering is the voice coil. It has two wires- white and black. it is already grounded and need to be replace (the fact that it humms..). my company distribute wow magic sing here in Philippines and we can easily repair that.

No power

My magic mike does have power, but a couple of my song chips comes up garble, and unable to bring song up, where as a third chip is able to play . Some times when I run through the list there will be some songs that pops up but not all. Then after a while it will go gargble again, but the third chip is okay.
This is when I use the AA batteries, If I remove the batteries, then it will come up data check, and garble...........any solutions or answers? Thanks

Magic Singalong Song Chips - question please

Not exactly, magic sing comes in different models with different song chip. Old magic sings uses Black with metal song chip, Black song chips, Silver song chips and Gray song chips.

For your Magic sing II (I believed it has four song chips slot) the compatible song chip is the Silver song chip.

I hope you have configured the MIC for NTSC. By default it comes configured for PAL (Indian TV standard). The manual explains how to do it.
