To unlock plug it into original computer...if thats not enough open itunes.
If it is still asking for code and you can't remember it try this:(I got this from John on here and it worked for me)- with ipod still plugged in...
Go to My computer- click on tools - folder options - then the VIEW tab - tick the box for 'show hidden files and folders' - click OK -
now click on ipod (in my computer) a light file called Ipod control double click- then Device double click - then _locked file right click and delete - disconnect ipod from computer.
this should have taken the code screen away and you're at main menu. you can reset your code.... but sometimes you need to re-boot your ipod.
You can do that by flicking the hold switch over and back...then holding in the middle button and menu together until the Apple logo appears and release.
NONE OF THESE ACTIONS ERASE YOUR STORED INFO.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

What the password for netgear for ipod touches

the password for a wireless network is set by the owner of the network. it is the same password you would use when logging onto that network from a computer. if you do not have the password ask the owner of the network what the password is. if you are the owner of the wireless network and you have forgotten your password, that is another thing entirely and you should ask how to recover your wifi password.

We are setting up our wireless router and trying to get the ipod online and it is asking for password and we have never set that up have any suggestions on how to get that info

1. Try entering nothing. If it works there is no password on your network. 2. Because your computer remembers the password of your router you may think there is not password when there is. 3. If you have forgotten the password and.. A. you hav a Mac, go to Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access. You should find the name of your router in the list. You will need your keychain password to see the passwords within. (can't help with a PC) B. Reset your router and give it a new password you can remember. If you don't give it a password, anyone walking by can join.

I forgat my passward and i tried so many times that now it tells me to connct to itunes

plug it into your computer and through itunes on your original computer you will be able to reset it. If it is not the original computer that you are using you will be able to reset it but will probably lose the information on it.

2WIRE493 network asks me for a password. What is the password?

If it's your network, you should have the password. But if it's someone else's network, you can't connect without the password. And we can't possibly know the password, only the one who owns the network knows the password.

Reset password

Unfortunately, if you have forgotten the password, the only way to reset it is through a system Restore via iTunes, which will erase all songs. But your password will then be reset to no password.

How do i reset my nano ipod password ive tried the apple instructions?

---If you do this you won't lose music"---
Well I went to my computer clicked my ipod and when the folders came up you go up top to "tools and folder options" and go to the tab that says "view" and click the one that says "show hidden folders." Then click "ipod control" then "Device" and delete the file that says "_lock" or something on that line. If you any questions email me at wolffa@mhs-pa.org
