Cry. Seriously, remove the drive and copy off of it any and all files that you want and need. Then format the unit and reinstall the operating system and programs from the backup disks that you have. No backup?
Now you are really ******* - see if you can get set from notebook manufacturer. If not check with your computer literate friends to see if any of them have OS installation disks.
his could be caused by a couple of problems but you are going to need access to a second computer to determine the problem.
You have a disk that is failing and it has had an error. Got to the
disk makers site and down load their diagnostic program and check the
disk. This is a stand alone CD so you don't need to boot into the OS.
program that can temporarily fix errors is http://www.dposoft.net/ This
program will stop after fixing the first error unless you buy it.
Again, this is a stand alone.
If it is a disk error, you need to quickly get your data off and install a new disk.
have a second computer? then you need to take it to a local computer
store where they can remove the disk, install it in a desktop and check
it for errors.
2) This could be a virus, but I think #1 is your
problem. TrendMicro.com has a free online virus scan if you can install
the disk in a second computer.
look for it in the device manager and see if it is installed ...To get there click right on my computer ...properties/ hardware / device manager ... here you should locate it by name or by video camer a...and if it is in yellow with a sign on it ...this means that it is not installed..and you have to see what is the reason ...Either the driver is not compatible with the operation system ..or you do not installed it ..or you did something during install...probably it pop-ed up for installation when it was discovered by windows and you canceled the installation cause you had other priorities.. so in this case insert the disk again ...open the disk by explore it (right click on disk icon) ...locate the driver for the camera and in accord with the operation system you are using ...and start the install from the installer application ...Run it all the way even if windows will say at dome moment that the driver is not digitally signed or something lik ethat ...click install anyway.. after that restart the laptop...if the camera it is enabled...and has no other issues this will have to make it work ...probably windows will find it ..and start a wizard to install it again ...run it automatically and it will announce you that the device is installed and ready to use.. If the camera is nowhere to be seen in the device manager ...and the windows it do not find it anywhere automatically..than try first to restart ..and just as the first lines written appears..pressF2 to enter Bios settings ..Here look for the feature called Optimal factory defaults ,,and enable it by selecting with the arrows for up and down ...and press enter to agree....Save all changes by pressing F10 ..and this will restart the device ..In this moment even if the camera was disabled ..windows will find it and install it automatically cause the driver is already installed,,,if it doesn't It means the camera is dead..
use both the links just copy and paste them in your browsers address bar and download and anstall the driver for your logitech quick cam
Hi there This message usually pops up in the "blue screen" This Stop message indicates that a kernel-mode process or driver
attempted to access a memory address to which it did not have
permission to access. This error usually occurs after the installation of a buggy device
driver, system service, or BIOS. To resolve it quickly, restart your
computer, and press F8 and select "Last Known Good Configuration" this should repair the machine, although in some case the system has to be recovered
You probally have spyware. I'd clean the system up and turn on your popup blocker. Run a disk clean up found in start> all programs> accessories>system tools>disk clean up. Check ALL boxes and let it run untill complete. In Internet Explorer go to Tools and then to pop up blocker, make sure it is on. Then run a virus scan using AVG or Avira both you can get for free at cnet.com. Make sure you uninstall your current virus software BEFORE you install the new. You can crash your system if you dont. Run a full system scan if any virus's are found restart and run it again...continue to do so until none are found. Pain I know but this is critical. If you are still expieriencing the issue after that I would install Adaware and run that. Hope this helps.
Hi, I think ur laptop webcam driver not installed properly. If ur laptop have windows vista operating system then do these steps. Goto Start - Programs - Recovery Manager - Recovery Manager. In that recovery manager, click on next. Its shows the Software reinstallation page.Click on next button two times. Its shows the software lists.Select the webcam software and click on next button. After reinstallation completed , u restart laptop and check it. If ur laptop have windows XP operating system then u uninstall the webcam software through Add/Remove program and restart it.After restarting ,Reinstall the web cam software and check it. If u doesnt have webcam drivers then u go for nearest service centre and install it.
