I have an 03 Pontiac Grand Prix w/stock radio. The battery drained completely and now my radio will not come on. The display reads LOC. Any suggestions? Please help me! Thanks, Doug Handlin

The radio is asking abot "unlock" code, enter the code to unlocked. Generally this code is in the owners manual or radio backside. Other choice is visit your dealer and with your VIN number, ask about this.

Good luck.

1994 pontiac firebird radio unlock code

You might try pushing the "mute" button with key on and see if this will do the trick! Hope this information helps, if not you will have to obtain the code from your local dealership.

I need the Theftlock radio unlock code for a 2000 Pontiac Montana

it aint working dude because you have a RDS radio, that means your radio transmits data, like when it shows the song and the title of whoever sings it, your screen dont say LOC, IT SAYS LOCKED, YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT TO A DEALER TO GET IT UNLOCKED, THEY USE A TEC 2 DEVICE TO DO IT. Thats why those steps dont work, i gurantee it, because i got a 2003 pontiac grand am and had the same problem.

Unlock code for my car radio

Hello, i have seen this problem on my car before when ever the battery got disconected or gone dead. stereo antitheft loc is on and some times if you try to put to many wrong codes in unsucsesfully i had to turn key on for one hour and then the correct code entered.its usually in owners manual under anti-theft stereo loc.they should have wrote the code in there manualy when the car was new.i took mine to a car audio dealer and got the code from a couple of digets that showed up on the radio when he held on to two buttons at the same time and called for the codes that were programed in.this is just a helpfull guide to a related problem i had in a grand prix i bought used and put a new battery in and had no code.i live in louisville ky. and went to a after market dealer on dixie hwy. and it costed about 60 dollars.but since i tryed the wrong code more than three times he had to leave the ignition on for an hour before it would worked and i wrote the code down.its usually a 3-4 number code.

if you go t you cant enter information on it to retrieve your code. You can also check in the owners manual under the radio section and see if there is a card there. also you can give your local honda dealer a call and give them your vin number and they can look it up. hope it helps

Radio theft code

The dealer wants the $30 to remove the radio to determine the serial number from the radio. Remove the radio yourself (quite easy to do - two philips screws at the bottom of the facia, it pops off, then four 7/32 machine screws holding the radio bracket and out it slides), then drive to the dealer in the vehicle the radio came out of. The service department will give you the code when you show them your registration and show them the radio itself so they can read the serial number.
