If you are using Win XP Operating System, you might need to install MSUAA before instaling the audio driver, or you can do installing manually. Go to start>Run>Browse>My Computer>CD Drive>SW2>Audio>double click SET UP
Have you gone to the acer site? and second question I too have an acer and I got rid of Vista is this what you did or did the computer come installed with xp. If it did make sure you have the Microsoft hdd coded driver installed. It is available by googling "hdd audio driver" it will send you to microsoft to download. Also make sure you have completely deleted the previous software before loading the new one they will conflict and load on top of each other. Hope this helped..Take care.. Be mucho blessed..Mark
is there any other way to solve the audio problem? after i install win xp sp3 in my acer aspire 5550,i get stuck in installing audio driver.i have download the driver from many website even in acer.com, but still cant solve it..please give me some idea..
