When I turn on my mobility scooter it does not move but a flashing red light blinks. I do not have the owners manual for this older mobility scooter to inform me what six (6) blinks mean.

blue light flashes mean.

The freewheel lever is in the neutral position (which allows you to move the scooter around by pushing it. Turn the key switch off then move the lever to the drive position , turn it back on and it should run fine. The freewheel lever is sticking up through the plastic cowl. It is located under the seat on the right hand side near the rear of the sccooter

I would look at the freewheel lever. Disengage and then engage the freewheel and see if this corrects the problem. If not, you may have a bad freewheel switch.

The Drive Dart has a computer based controller that performs a Power On Self Test (POST) of the scooter, its wiring and components. Please count the number of flashes as this flash code tells you where to look to solve the POST problem.

John count the number of flashes by the green light and it will be the fault code indicating the problem Your owners manual should list the fault codes to be able to determine what the problem is. Ie 4 blinks pause 4 blinks pause. The clicking you hear is the electric brakes being engaged. Hope this helps
