Brand new- plenty of ice in bulk ice but nothing comes out door. What does little lock logo indicate- could this be the problem- how do I activate/deactivate it. My contractor did not give me the manual for this appliance.

Re: Ice and water won't come out dispenser
Here is link to your owners manual subzero.com
and here are instructions for using the lock feature..
LOCKFor Models 685 and 695, the lock feature isused to prevent unintended ice and waterdispensing. When the dispenser is locked, allkey pads on the glasswell are deactivated toallow cleaning or to prevent small childrenfrom using the dispenser. To activate the lock feature, hold down theLIGHT key pad on the glasswell until the keypad lights flash once and the red LOCK icon isilluminated (approximately five seconds). Thelights will remain in the state they were inbefore the lock feature was activated. To deactivate the lock feature, hold down theLIGHT key pad until the key pad lights flashonce and the red LOCK icon is no longer illuminated(approximately five seconds). Thelights will remain in the state they were inbefore the lock feature was deactivated. Thanks Peyton

I smelled something burning. after that the light at the dispenser does not come on, the other indicator lights work. but can't get water or ice from the door & solenoid got just 36v instead 120

If the little green lites show up , you do not need a circuit board . If you get a hum or buzzing noise when pushing for CRUSHED ice , then the auger motor is frozen up . Remove the ice bin and use a hair dryer directly on the forks which turn the dispensor . The heat will transfer into the motor , defrosting the armature . Try closing the freezer door ocassionally and pushing the arm to test if forks turn .
Water dispenser is a simple touch switch in door energizing a solenoid water valve behind ventilation grate above refrigerator. Water tube runs down into and ends at ice dispenser chute. Should hear solenoid click at top of fridge when activate water touch switch. Can unhook discharge side of solenoid valve temporarily to prove water output. If water dispenser tube acts blocked it could be frozen where it ends-look up the hole at the bottom of refrigerator control buttons.
Ice maker is totally different system. No clicking when push ice button but ice in bulk tray may mean the simplest of malfunctions: Ice bin not pushed in the last half inch if ice auger not lined up with drive pegs. There are hidden switches behind ice bin that need to be engaged or nothing will happen in the ice maker: no auger noise, no clicking, no new ice making. Ice bin will be flush with sheet metal if it is in the right spot. Also plastic juice rack won't hang properly if ice bin not pushed in all the way.
Welcome to fixya.
I'm Huuum and happy to assist you,
You said, When the water dispenser is pushed you
can hear it try to work (a humming or pumping sound) but nothing comes
out. Below is a list of reasons that the water may not be working that are easily checked and remedyed by you! Is there a water shut off on your fridge? If so the dispensor will still make noise as if it is trying, even if it is locked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. When did you change the internal water filter last? You can remove the water filter and still use the water dispenser to check if the filter may be the problem! If nothing changes reinsert the water filter.
2.Flushing the water system after replacing filter Use a sturdy container to depress the water dispenser bar until the water begins to flow. Flush the water system by dispensing and discarding 2 to 3 gal. (8 to 12 L) of water. Cleaning the system will take approximately 6 to 7 minutes and will help clear air from the line. Additional flushing may be required in some households. NOTE: As air is cleared from the system, water may spurt out of the dispenser.
3.***Read this: The dispenser lock (on some models) Your dispenser can be turned off for easy cleaning or to prevent accidental dispensing by small children and pets. To turn off the dispenser, press the LOCK button. The indicator will appear above the LOCK button and the ice and water dispensers will not work. To unlock the dispenser, press the UNLOCK button until the indicator appears. Then continue to dispense ice or water as usual. NOTE:********** The lock feature does not shut off power to the product, to the ice maker, or to the dispenser light. It simply deactivates the dispenser levers.
4.The water dispenser will not operate properly Has the water system not filled? The water system needs to be filled the first time it is used. Use a sturdy container to depress the water dispenser bar until the water begins to flow. Flush the water system by dispensing and discarding 2 to 3 gal. (8 to 12 L) of water. Cleaning the system will take approximately 6 to 7 minutes and will help clear air from the line. Additional flushing may be required in some households. See the “Water and Ice Dispensers” section. Is the water shutoff valve not turned on or the water line connected at the source? Make sure the water shutoff valve is turned on and the water source is connected to the refrigerator. See the “Water Supply Connection” section. Is the water shutoff valve clogged or incorrectly installed? See the “Water Supply Connection” section. If clogging or installation is not a problem, call for service or contact a plumber. Is there a kink in the home water source line? If you find or suspect a kink in the water line, call for service. Is there a water filter installed on the refrigerator? The filter may be clogged or incorrectly installed. First, check the filter installation instructions to ensure that the filter was installed correctly and is not clogged. If installation or clogging is not a problem, call for service.

INSIDE THE DISPENSER ASSEMBLY IS A SEPARATE ELECTRONIC BOARD THAT CONTROLS THE DISPENSER.
OCCASIONALLY, THE DOOR SOLENOID OR THE CUBE ICE SOLENOID WILL SHORT OUT CAUSING A BURNOUT OF THE DISPENSER CONTROL BOARD. CHECK FOR A BURNT SMELL COMING FROM THE DISPENSER HOUSING. IF YOU SMELL IT, THE BOARD AND/OR SOLENOID NEED TO BE REPLACED.
sounds like the dispenser assembly is not sensing that the trap door is opening fully, so it wont send power to the auger motor or fill valve. If you are pretty handy, you can disassemble the door and take out the dispenser assembly and try to take the assembly apart and correct the throw on the trap door. Otherwise, I'm afraid you need a new dispenser to the tune of about $250 parts and $225 trip and labor. Good luck!
