Have a jonsered 2240 chainsaw engine will start and idle on choke but cuts out when throttle is opened up it revs up then dies

Sounds like it might be fuel starvation. How long since you cleaned the fuel filter?

I have a 1983 jonsered 520 sp and don't know the fuel ratio for this saw

You should run it at a 25-1 fuel oil mix, use a good quaility two stroke oil.

I lent my saw out and it came back with the fuel lines missing I need to look at a parts manual to see what parts I need I have a Jonsered 2045 turbo

A typical fuel system and a couple of tips:

The IPL (exploded parts list) for your saw is the only detail for fuel line routing and it is sketchy at best; components are listed but may be on different illustrations.
IPL courtesy of "" (may not be your saw) You can download an Operators Manual at but no IPLs.
Husqvarna is the parent company. I would try a local Husky dealer for parts if JRed dealer close. It often saves shipping cost.

Need to know gas to oil ratio jonsered 535 chainsaw

50:1 is the mixture for the Jonsered 535. I bought mine new around 1991 and it's been a great saw.
