Hi, I have a tv and it just went dead. When I plug it up I receive a steady flashing green blinking light. I have tried to use the reset system button but it still didn't work. The Tv is in good condition and it was showing fine before it went dead. Do you have any suggestions on the problem and possible fix. I have read some info on this problem and other eu's said that it might be the pwb or the DM. Not to sure if its a low end power board or the DM, Please help.

Thats caused by weak capacitors on the DM board which cannot recharge after the power has been restored. Very inexpensive repair . The WS48511 - WS55511 DM repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com has the capacitors and the CD with repair instructions which should solve the issue of the steady blinking green light.
Try to press both the menu button and the input/device button on the set both in together and hold in for 6 seconds to see if the led will blink a two digit blink code, then let me know the two didgit code, and I will try to assist you. Please respond to this same post when replying.
This forum is pretty dead. Anyways the technician came and disconnected the wires running to front control panel ( where the buttons are). And now the TV works with the remote. Apparently the front pannel had shorted.
Details: He moved the grill on top of the speakers. You will see two sets of wires running from the bottom of unit to the front control pannel. These wires are joined by clips. Just disjoin the wires at the clip.
Look around online and find that this is a huge problem with Mitsubishi rear projection tv's. It is the board that needs replacing at $1100. My tv is 3 years old and already a big paperweight. Blinking green light of death.
