Everytime I open the software for my camera, it tells me that I can't open more than one database at a time. Can't figure out which database is open. I am unable to restore my database as that is not an option. How do I restore my database?

Everytime i turn the camera on it tells me i have a card error, i bought a new card and it is still telling me i have a card error? what can i do to solve this???

try going in to the settings menu and selecting the format option. New cards are generally not formatted and using the cameras software formats the card to be used in the camera. also note: I have found olympus or kingston cards to have compatability issuses when used with fuji cameras so I stick to fuji cards as a rule.

I am tring to load some pictures from my camera to a disk and can not figure it out

first , load the proper drivers and programs related to your camera to the computer, then follow manufacturer's instructions on transferring pictures to the computer.

Sometimes, it is not automatic on certain brands.

What brand do you have and what software? I would ask this everytime I see a new camera/computer combination.

Cannot install driver (code 10 )

don't use the camera to load the pictures. see if your printer or computer have an SD card reader or buy one for $10 plug it into your USB drive and access the pictures that way...

Once you plug in your SD card Via SD card reader go to my computer and open the drive with the SD card on it... Shouldn't be difficult to figure out. Cut or Copy all your pics and paste them into your My Pics folder or any other folder of your choosing. Enjoy your pics...

Camrea turns off everytime I connect it to the computer

sian_goldfin,
Have you loaded the easy share software to the computer prior to connecting for the first time? Windows is funny about that so first reload the software (uninstall it if you must) then shut down the computer then restart it. (assuming Windows XP) Make sure you can open the program without the camera attached. Fill out and register it then exit the program, attach the connector and you should see that the camera is recognized and the software should restart and then you should be able to transfer your photos into the album or folder option of your choice. Just check the installation instructions to make sure the program is off before you connect the camera. Early versions only worked when it was started.

Camera stabilizer means that it needs to be sent in to be repaired. Call repairs at 800-706-2534 and choose option 2. Tell them that you have that error and they will tell you where to send it. :)

Software issues

There is an 'Easy' solution to this well known problem
Remove the software from the computer.
Out the CD back in the box it came in.

Windows does not actually need software to read a camera and there is plenty of free software out there that does work
Picasa for starters

Software required in order to store photos

If you are using WinXP a window will pop up when you have plugged the camera in via USB and turned the power on. The window will ask how you want to handle future USB connection of the camera. Ensure you pick "open to a folder" or something like that. After that everytime you connect the camera it simply treats it like another hard drive and you can browse the folders on the SD card in the camera. Select all, copy, and then paste to a folder on your main hard drive or wherever. OR select all and drag and drop. You don't need the SD software they supply. The supplied Photobase4 is useful for rotating images taken in portrait mode. You may want to download this EXIF viewer as it is far far superior to anything supplied by Panasonic.
