SOURCE: am i hooking this nebulizer up right

First when you turn on the neb is it running and putting out air
second is the circuit or medicine cup you have new?
if not replace if yes connect tubing to spout on neb, connect other end to bottom of cup open up and put medication inside ( you can do a trial run with water just to make sure its puffing before you waste meds.
put on mputhpiece turn on should puff out like steam if not you compressor may not be putting out enough air if over 5 years old insurance should help purchace a new one with a dr rx if not call company you got it from they usually have a 5 year warranty on them.
Hope this helps

Where do you load the inhalation solution?

You may have already figured this out by this time, but figured that others could have the same question. Here's a simplified explanation on how to assemble and use the nebulizer. I apologize if the explanation sounds patronizing. I'm not sure of what you may or may not understand about the nebulizer, so I'm explaining as though you don't understand it. I'd rather someone explain something in a patronizing way, than assume I have knowledge that I actually don't. At least with the former, it's easier for me to ensure my questions are answered. I also apologize for my ADHD. It often cause me to write much more than is necessary or overexplain things.

There should be two pieces that screw together to make the reservoir.

Piece #1 is the male side/bottom side and may or may not have a green cone inside. If not, there are still a plastic piece inside that forms a cone shape. This side should also have a small plastic cylinder shape on the bottom. This is where one side of the supply tube should be attached.

Piece #2 is the female side and has a larger cylinder shape on the top. When the piece is turned on its side, it sort of resembles a flashlight. This is what the breathing apparatus is attached to. You attach the tee adapter to the tube side of it. Then you attach the mouthpiece to whichever of the tee sides it fits best. Once this is all assembled, attach the other end of the supply tube to the nebulizer.

Now, back to your question. Open the reservoir, pour the solution into Piece #1, then screw Piece #2 back on. It should only take a second or two for the steam to begin flowing through the breathing apparatus once you turn the nebulizer on. Also make sure the the supply tube is attached securely to both the nebulizer and the reservoir so it doesn't pop off. Now you're ready to begin.

If you start coughing during treatment, that's fine. Don't remove it from your mouth or stop treatment. My mom was my son's pediatric nurse and trained us on its use. She said that if you start coughing during treatment, that actually helps you to inhale even more of the solution which is beneficial..

I'm in need of a proneb compressor nebulizer tubing adapter

Hi,
As a Registered Respiratory therapist I know that alot of equipment issues with nebulizer are creative plumbing type things. I found your needed part available thru "American Allergy Supply 1-800-221-6483." Are you sure with a bit of wiggle that a simple oxygen tubing connector wouldn't work? Just asking. luisayala.jpg

I have a Devilbliss Pulmo-Mate model 3650D and I plug it in and medicine does not blow out tube it only bubbles inside cup. What is wrong.

Your tubing is clogged or torn somewhere. Get a new nebulizer kit and cup and it'll be working in no time.

I have an Inspiration nebulizer but have no idea how to use it and no manual with it. I need to use it for my 3 year old son. Help please!!

There is not much available on this model but I found something for you here for sure so you can hopefully at least get it working for your son. I know the feeling, I had to use one of these as well when I was younger. This was very difficult to find, but I found it just for you! Please make sure you rate my answer 4 thumbs up! Thanks so much for understanding, it would be a huge help to me. I would be forever grateful if you could do this for me. To view the manual you will need adobe reader, which you can get for free from http://get.adobe.com/reader/ You probably already have it though, please try opening the file first and find out. Here is the manual / guide please give it a few minutes the file is quite large:

Respironics Side Stream Nebulizer tubing with condensation

try this...
let the compressor run with only the tubing attached for a few minutes. The warm air
from the compressor will dry the moisture or condensation in the tubing. Use a damp
cloth to wipe the exterior of the tubing.
hope this helps..good luck...

Omron nebulizer will not mist. All tubing is intact. What to do?

You'll read a lot about making sure that the filter is clean and that the medicine cup is cleaned and that hard water can effect the operation of the nebulizer. However, the problem is most likely in the pump. Even though the pump is running, it is not pushing enough air into the medicine cup. You may even feel air coming out of the tube. When unrestricted, the air will come out, but, once restricted by the medicine cup, the air may not be fast enough to nebulize the liquid. If you want to confirm this, take the tube and hold it to the end of a bike pump, if, while pumpung, you successfully see mist, then you know for sure.

Fixing the pump is not too difficult. Over time, the chamber where the air is compressed becomes dry and, just like a dry bike pump, the air escapes from the chamber due to poor seals. The pump is pretty simple. Make sure it is unplugged from power and remove the screws holding the housing together. Inside you will see the motor, a fan, a power switch and the intake and outtake tubes. Follow the outtake tube to the pump. The junction where the tubes meet the pump is the location of the air chamber. You may need to remove the screws that secure the tubes to the chamber. Once apart, take some grease and lightly coat all of the interior surfaces of the chamber. When finished, reassemble and you're good to go!

There is no mist coming out of the neb machine.

No! don't buy a new machine. First wash the mask, tubes and any other washable part really well by hand. There could be some dryed on fluid blocking the flow of the liquid. Then make sure that the part where you put the liquid does not have liquid on top of the ******** part. Usually a bit of shaking off of the liquid or using a paper towel to dry that part off should help. If this doesn't work let the nebulizer dry out overnight with all parts seperate. I constantly have these kinds of problems with my nebulizer and these seem to do the trick if these don't work then you might need a new machine.
