Question about HP 417035-001 - HP Pavilion dv2000 Series Laptop Full Featured Intel Chipset Motherboard
HP DV7 17" Display. The colors displayed are muted and look like a photo negative. Did it earlier today. Went back to normal after couple re-boots. Now doing it again
How long have the colors on your display been "reversed/inverted" and looking like a negative....... Did you drop or damage the laptop in any way (sudden shock/bump)? Also, has it been allowed to overheat (if you run the laptop while it is sitting on a soft surface such as a bed, pillow, couch, etc it can allow the motherboard to overheat because it cannot get the airflow through the cooling system through the fan/vents because they are blocked). Have you checked to see if your laptop is included in the "HP Service Enhancement" program???
