I purchased an mp4 MISSIL SD-2415 mp4 player. It comes with a 'driver' cd that contains two filetypes; a Video converter that works, and USB Disk Win98 Driver Version 1.51.57, which installs a whole load of nothing; some icons and error-code lists.Do I need to find a driver online? Or, do I need to get a new player/driver disk?

You need to find and install the MISSIL SD-2801 software to convert the videos then convert those wit your GL-15052 converter, then rest asured it will work I have both that is how I made it work for me.
First of all you would have to have a youtube downloading program, so as to d/l from the website. The files that you downloaded are saved as flv. thus, youd then need to have a program that converts flv to avi or mpeg files and lastly youd have to install the program that came on the mini disc, so as to convert from avi/mpeg to AMV, the recognized format on the missil player.
The product should take Mpeg4 and mp4 format for the product. It should be put into the folder the device came with to identify that it is there by the manufactured software that is built into the product. The software mini cd that comes with the product will down size the format to fit into your device. I put mine into the folder RECORD that came with my device and from there I can put in my own named folders Like Movie Folder, Music Video Folder or Family Video folder, But you have to put it all into the manufactured software folder for it to be identifiedon your device. So when you got the device and attached it to your computer to add your songs or videos just look for the folders in your device and add them into there.
On the desktop of start menu their should be something called COMPUTER. if you click on that, it shows everything connected to the computer, you should see your missil MP4 connected their. Hope it works!
