I have no picture, the input or menu doesn't come

-   In the middle of watching a program the tv turned off and never came back on. I unplugged it and took the back off and looked around for any loose connection but was none. But when you plug it back in the tv makes a sound as if it was turning on but didn't. With looking in the back of tv after plugging it back in there were two small lights that came on but then faded out. It had been taken to the shop and cost 700 dollars to get fixed and only have had it for i think it has been at least four months. Now the tv repair guy said that if the tv didn't turn on, that we should remove the back and press something down and then try again but my husband doesn't remember where, do you think you can help us. -   DDaisylover
