Question about Universal Remote Control Hampton Bay Universal Ceiling Fan/TV/DVD/Satellite Remote Control
I bought a condo with an installed Hampton Bay fan with light. The remote is a Hampton Bay remote that should dim the light (low, med, hi) and turn fan on and off. I replaced the battery and do have a red light when I press the button but no response from fan or light. There is a light and dimmer switch on the way...and one that may flip on the fan...it doesn't work either.
Hi there, did you try checking the dip switches? I would recommend to read this remote control troubleshooting guide. It is generally helpful for these situations. Troubleshooting Ceiling Fan Remote Controls My Remote is Not Working...
