Somehow, if you've been messing with your computer, uv put static through the motherboard. This has ither damaged the processor or chipset, the chipset is the part that makes the usb, display and everything work.
Theres no way out of this except replacing the motherboard and processor. If you went inside your computer, you've obviously damaged something.

Next time wear an antistatic wristband!

Hello,

There are few troubleshooting steps you could try:

>>First have you installed any new hardware to your system, if so remove it and boot system.
>>Also make sure your monitor is on and connected to the blue 15pin connector on the back of your system. Let us know if you need any more help.

    Hello Again,

You know you should trying connecting your monitor to another computer and see if this monitor works. It could be many different things? A couple other ideas would be to connect another monitor to this computer and see if it may be a bad Graphics card. I would also open up the box and check to see that all connectors and plugs are well connected. Also try unseating then reseating your memory cards. Let me know.......

When I press the power button to turn the computer on, nothing is displayed on the LCD screen. Power light, Hard Drive light, and Battery Light all appear normally. I hear the fan blowing internally and...

Check the resolution of the screen by right clicking on an empty part of the screen and choosing properties. Go to settings and make the resolution 1078 x 768 and hit apply and ok. There are instances when the resolution will change from a software update etc. that is not supported by the monitor or graphics card.

Green Power light blinking

Check the resolution in the Windows while connected to the old monitor. If greater than 1280 X 1024 and/or the refresh rate exceeds 75 Hz, the monitor may not respond. But you should at least see the BIOS splash when the computer is turned on. If that does not appear, maybe a problem has occurred in the monitor. Another indicator: if you turn the monitor power button off and then back on, you should get some sign of life such as "no signal", or "out of range". If nothing appears, that would indicate some problem within the monitor.

If you find my suggestions to be helpful, please share with us some details so that others may benefit from knowing the whole story. Thank you!
