I appears your orginal remote is not available anymore but, there is a recommended substitue.

Here is the link..

If you are very lucky you might be able to find a supplier online that still has some old stock on the shelf. Good luck.

Sony remote RM-Y135 got dropped into a bucket of water. What to do?

If your device gets covered in water, act fast and rationally, and you may be able to save your device.

2. Pull out the batteries.
3. Please your device and battery into a bowl of uncooked rice to absorb any moisture.
4. Please it in a warm, dry place where it can receive direct sunlight.
5. Be patient. It is recommended that you leave it in there for at least 48 hours.
6. After 48 hours, put new batteries back in and power on.

Give me the model and I can give you color codes, but if the wiring is still in tact you shouldn't need to rewire. Let me know and I'll help you out.

If you rinsed it in fresh water immediately after the drop then maybe it will work again. You would need to replace the batteries. The prospects are, however, not good. Best to to get a new one.

Could you give more info than this? Did you check batteries? did it get dropped? did water get in it? or did it just stop working one day with no reason? If you could get more information we could possibly help.
