New cyliders now have expire date on bottom of cannister. If old will not fire properly. Put new fuel cell in should be fine.

Back up all inportant files. Best to purchase a simple plug and play ext hard drive ($60-90) and copy and paste files into it. Re-install windows and this will wipe out all files and internet downloads which lead to the slow performance. Re load the saved files and you are good to go. Piston does non fully retract all the time and then it can't feed nail

I have the same trouble with mine guns from time to time. A really good tear down cleaning followed by a drop or two of quality machine oil each time you use it should solve your problem. If you only use it once a month or so try dry firing it after oiling a half a dozen shots or so before loading it

The dial on the top of the gun is most likely the depth adjustment for the nails, this should solve the driver damaging the work piece. Make sure the nails are the correct guage for the nailer you have.
