Question about Reddy Heater-30-55,000 BTU Variable

55,000 btu reddy heater. I turn it on and the tip does light and the fuel will spray for a second and the fan turns on but it will not stay on but for about 10 seconds. not sure whats wrong.

Need to set the air pressure.you need to have a gauge to set it correctly.the heaters with glow bars do not work the same as old style.the flame has to be in the correct possition for the unit to work.

My 55,000 BTU Reddy Heater is filled with kerosene and plugged in for the first time this heating season but will not turn on. The on / off sywitch shows current. I turned it off and waited 10 seconds...

Does this unit have a t-stat in it??? They can go bad when just sitting around....otherwise I would look for a broken or chewed wire....may have got a mouse in there somewhere...
Use an electric meter and follow the electric and see where it stops...
