SOURCE: L7 wiring options

yes it should work fine i would bridge them up to 4 ohms each speaker then bridge them back bye conectin them on the amp by puting the red with the red and puting the black with the black if the amp only has 1 chanel then put both speakers red on the same positive on the amp and same with the negative now to bring the ohms up to 4 ohms conect the solid red to the black with dot with a short wire ok then the ones that are not run together will go to the amp giving offf 4 ohms and with the 2 speakers bridged together thay will reduce to 2 ohms witch means that eatch speaker will get about 600 wats of rms from the amp

SOURCE: how to wire my kicker solar baric

All depends on your amp. Is it 1 ohm stable or not?
Parralell:
positive (pos) on voice coil 1 (vc1) to Pos on vc2 and negative (neg) on vc1 to neg on vc2. Then speaker wire from amp to one vc only = 1ohm load.
Series:
Pos from amp to Pos on vc1. Neg of vc1 to Pos of vc2. Neg of vc2 to amp = 4 ohm load.

SOURCE: My Amp Keeps shutting off

You need to get an amp with higher wattage. Obviously, your amp cannot handle those two 10" monsters. hehe Nice Subs though :D

Best way to hook up a 15" solo baric L7 to a2400w cx 1200.1 kicker amp

The CX1200.1 amp is 2 ohm stable. Hopefully, you have the 4 ohm DVC version of the Solo-Baric L7. If so, connect the DVCs in parallel (both positives together, both negatives together) to the amp. This will maximize the output power of the amp. If you have the 2 ohm DVC version of the Solo-Baric L7, the best you can do is connect the DVCs in series to the amp. This will cut the output power in half, though.

@aol.comI have a kicker zx 1500.1 amplifier and a 15 inch L7 2ohms. Is the amp too much for it?

the amplifier is never to much for the sub. If the gain on the amp is turned up to much then that will pop the sub.

I have 2 15 inch L5 solo baric subs and need a amp?

the 15" l5 is rated at 750 watts rms so i suggest you get an amp with atleast that much power because if you get a amp weaker than that you run the risk of clipping your subs and blowing them

How to run the speaker wires to connect to the subwoofer? and does a sub woofer burn if you do not put the right ammount of watts to it for example having an kicker l7 connected to a three houndred watt...

i'm guessing you are having problems with the dual voice coil's so I will link you to the kicker wiring guide...

http://kicker.com/sites/default/files/SoloBaricL72006.pdf that has the wiring options, you will need a pdf reader **** as adobe or foxit..

Under powering your subs won't hurt them but running a 15 inch l7 at 300 watts is not going to let the sub perform at peak, I would go with a 800 to 1000 watt amp.

15 inch l7 watt's are as follow

rms = 1000
peak = 2000
