I purchased a Sansa Fuze 2 gig MP3 / Video player and spent countless hours searching message boards and online blogs trying to to find the solution to this same problem.
(The Sansa Media Converter software is worthless **** IMHO!!)
Then I stumbled upon this program:
http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/video4fuze-Download-139109.htm
I Installed it, and I was watching videos on my Sansa in no time.
Keep in mind that there are different versions of video4fuze for different models of Sansa media players. It may take some searching to find the version that matches your version/model of Sansa mp3 / video player.

SOURCE: how to put videos to my sansa fuze 4gb?

Here's my method for getting videos to my player (same model), which should work with yours:

what you'll want to do first, is to download "Free Download Manager" from their main site at
http://www.freedownloadmanager.org

then head for the download page, which will have two versions: a full version and a 'lite' version that you can download plug-ins for.
(if you download the Lite version you'll have to get the video conversion plug-in as well.)

You'll also want to check out the tutorials too.
here's a link for downloading/converting videos tutorial: http://freedownloadmanager.org/youtube.htm

On a side note, my preferences for converting vids is : FLV to AVI, 800x600 resolution, at Very High Quality. Works for me, it should work for you.

Hope this helps you enjoy your player even more!

SOURCE: my sansa fuze keeps freezing

Start the sansa updater, set sansa to recovery mode plug into computer. unplug when told sansa should restart (Lock sansa press and hold rec and menu until recovery begins)

Also you can Try
Reset All
NOTE: THIS IS AN ADVANCED OPERATION AND RESTORES ALL SETTINGS
TO THE FACTORY DEFAULTS. NORMAL USERS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED
TO PERFORM THIS OPERATION!
If your device freezes up press the Menu button and hold for 15 seconds.
This is like a power down of the device. Once you perform the reset, the adjustments you made during last operation
will be gone.....

SOURCE: my sansa fuze has frozen, and wont turn off, or go

Hold the the on/off button up for about 10-20 seconds and it should turn off. then you can just turn it on again. I fit doesn't work, then just wait for the battery to die and charge it back up.

Not able to play the videos in sansa sandisk fuze... which format it will support?

There is a tool called the Sansa Media Converter which will convert any video to a format understood by your Fuze, and copy the video to your Fuze. In order to get this tool, you need to install and run the Sansa Firmware Updater, which can be found here:

Cant get videos to play on sansa fuze 2g mp3

I had this problem my self, but here is the solution.
The sansa is really picky about Movies first you need to make sure you have the right File, I've only been able to get AVI to play on the fuze second, go on to SanDisk's web page and get the Firmware update here http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board/message?board.id=sansafuse&message.id=210
There is also a converter that is offered by SanDisk that is rather handy.
hope this helped
