Mackie CR1604 mixer hum on all channels

I doubt the issue will be the regulators if you have the correct voltage on them.
Check where the hum is coming from.
What frequency is the hum; 50/60HZ = mains hum = bad ground. 100/120HZ = power supply hum.
Affected by a control somewhere maybe.

When I turn up level on subwoofer it makes loud humming noise. JBL

Try the following steps to stop subwoofer hum.
  1. If the subwoofer is plugged into its own outlet, plug the subwoofer's power cord into an outlet shared by the other components. Use an extension cord if necessary.
  2. If the hum persists, and your system includes a cable TV, disconnect the cable line. If the hum stops, install an isolation transformer on the cable.
  3. If the hum persists, disconnect the remaining component cables one at a time until the hum stops. Install a coaxial isolation transformer on that cable.
  4. If the hum persists, install a line-level ground loop isolator on the subwoofer's line-level feed cable. This usually solves most hum problems.
  5. If nothing helps, disconnect all the audio cables from the subwoofer. Leave the subwoofer plugged in and switched on. If the subwoofer hums, it points to a defective unit. Contact the company's customer service to technical support.

Unplugged computer plugged back up loud humming

The humming could be coming from one of the fans or the disk drive. Sometimes if you just tap the case the humming will quit. If there is a CD in the cd drive sometimes it will hum.

Don't worry about the humming, if it starts clicking, that's when you worry.

NAD S300 Amplifer humming

You have either got a bad earth connection, or possibily there's a capacitor failed.
If you can't find a dodgy conection, I would replace the large Electrolytic Capacitors in the power section, they are used to take out 50hz hum in the mains electric, when they go you get that hum coming into your system.

Amplifiers has a hum

The hum therefore is a generated before it reaches the volume control. Check that all the connects are good, a bad earth will cause a hum. If the hum is in both channels it will be something that is common to both. Electrolytic Capacitors are there to take out hum, so suspect them first!
