Re: our power light is solid green but no pic
Its the same sort of problem as the 3rrod, the mainboard overheats and as a result the lead free solde rcracks and these type of faults occur. we can rectify this type of problem for you np. the xbox 360 needs a few things doing to it to get it working again:
1: clean the cpu and gpu
2: add some new heatsink paste to them pref arctic silver 5
3: replace the x-clamps
4: reflow the entire board
5: add heat conducting pads to the memory chips
we do all the above and also give the xbox 360 a free service worth £40 including return delivery to your door for only £40

I'm thinking bad AV cable or bad port on your TV. I assume the Xbox dash board won't come up, if so the "no signal" message is a TV error message not an Xbox error message. Try a different port on the TV and/or a different TV; also try a different AV cable. Good luck. Please rate, thanks.
the G.P.U has more than likely detached from the main board.
the x clamp mod is more of a diagnostic procedures than an actual repair function. The G.P.U will need to be re-flowed to
the main board then lightly but firmly clamp to the board
then stress tested (force it to run hot for 15 min shut off and
repeat 3 times)
hey gandylt, i had the exact same problem happen to me acouple days ago. i bought an additional working xbox 360, and i decided to up grade the cooling. anyway let get to the point.
There were three things that i did that solved the problem.
1.) I removed all heatsinks to find that i did an crappy job on applying the artic silver, it was everywhere. so one thing u want to do is make SURE THERE IS NO THERMAL compound on the motherboard PERIOD! the thermal compund can act like conductors, therefore if its all around the motherboard it can actually BRIDGE two different flow routes on the motherboard which isnt good at all. So Clean the mother board with 90%+ Alcohol. 2.) Second i reapplied the artic silver 5 in an very thin layer! its important not to have too much. 3.) Third. i didnt tight the heatsink bolts so tight like i did the First time. tight them but dont tight them too much.
Those were the exact 3 thing i did to get my 360 recovered from the following error. good luck guys!
Try powering on you unit press and hold the power button and the eject button for 30 sec unti the power light begins to flash thats going to reset the setting of your ps3, and if that does not work i would rec> sending it out so sony if its still under warranty or exchanging it from where u bought it.
They are green?!? usualy when people have problems with the xbox 360 hardware, the lights turn red. This xbox 360 may have a birth defect... Best thing to do is call 1800-4my-xbox. Talk to a representative about sending your xbox in, ONLY if you have not voided the warranty. If so, you will most likely have to buy a new xbox or new motherboard for it.
Also try changing your video settings to tv instead of hd, or hd if it is plugged into a hd tv. You might have toggled the HD switch on the video/audio chords.
3 Solid Red lights usually means that a cable is unplugged. Check all cables (unplug and plug back in)...you may need to replace power cable if issue is still ocurring. If it is 3 Flashing red lights, this is known as the Red Rings of Death, i.e. your XBOX is dead and needs to be completely replaced.
