You should have an option in your menu for "ratio lock"... many older screens have a ratio lock setting that you can enable or disable. Hope that works!

The reason is the aspect ratio that the game is set in. If you change the aspect ratio, you will lose the outer edges. A bit like cinema scope on a 16X9 screen. The top and bottom are missing by default.

How do i get a full picture on my secnium hd tv?

Hello

To get the picture full screen come to screen aspect ratio settings.

The Screen Format feature allows you to change how the image of a 4:3 picture

is displayed on your 16:9 screen. The options are Normal, Zoom or Stretch. If

your TV receives an image with a 4:3 aspect ratio, the image can be displayed in

one of three ways:

Normal The image of a 4:3 video signal is centered with black bars on the
right and left sides of the screen

To get ito this setting mode
Enter the main menu and go to preferences select the screen format; option-2; and change the settings to get a full picture.
OK.

Hello
To change its picture aspect ratio, you have to go to its menu. As you haven't its remote control there is an option for that, mentioned in its user manual. I hereby send it to you. Do the same and access the aspect ratio.

The television set has 4 keys which are located

on the front or the top of the set depending
on the model.

The VOLUME - + (- Vol +) keys are used to

adjust sound levels.The PROGRAM - + (- P +)

keys are used to select the required programmes.

To access the menus, simultaneously hold down

the VOL- and VOL+ keys.The PROGRAM - +

keys may then be used to select an adjustment

and the - VOL+ keys to make that adjustment.

To exit from the menus, hold down the 2 VOL-

and VOL+ keys.

Note: when the Child Lock function is activated,
these keys are unavailable
OK.

How can I get full screen image without distortion on tv viewing? I only get 4:3, zoom, full and justified. Full looks stretched horizontally with tv, looks ok with dvd.

Hello
Most of the telivision transmissions are comes at an aspect ratio of 4:3. Wide aspect ratio is 16:9. If you try to see a picture with aspect ratio 4:3 to wide 16:9, it will look like stretched. it is not the fault of the tv. Most DVD recording have the aspect ratio of 16:9 [Wide]. This aspect ratio will be displayed correctly when your tv is also set to wide mode. If you select normal mode at this condition, the picture will be displayed elongated. Ok Your Tv has no probelm.

Cannot change aspect ratio when im playing a game it cuts off part of the screen

Normal aspect ratio is 4:3, and the wide aspect ratio is 16:9. If you play a game meant for 4:3 and you change the TVs aspect ratio to 16:9; part of the picture will be cut off. It is not the fault of the TV.

Yes, it is possible the settings from your cable box maybe set to the wrong ratio eg:letterbox. Depending on what type of box you have, look in the cable box menu for a settings option, then change the aspect ratio to a different format.

Video files are not displaying right aspect ratio when copied in Windows dvd maker.

If you go into the dvd options dialogue, you find there a DVD aspect ratio option. This option lets you determine if a slide show on the DVD is displayed at 16:9 (widescreen) or 4:3 (standard) aspect ratio.
Alternatively: go into your settings and set 4:3 Pan & Scan or from 4:3 PS to 4:3 LB whichever your aim is or well whichever aspect of a movie you want to see.

If this helped please rate :)

LG 32'' LCD TV aspect ratio self switching

I have an LG LCD TV with the same problem.
The solution is to go to
MENU
OPTIONS
FACTORY RESET
And select HOME rather than STORE on initial setup.
Mine was set to store as it was a display model.
That means that whatever picture setting you make they will reset after 10 minutes.

How to change aspect ratio

That sounds like the setting. You would be using less pixels with the 3:2 aspect ratio. Since you said you had cropped the photos prior to sending them to the printer, you could have cropped them to a 3x2 ratio. I do that often. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements and when you use the selection tool, you have the option of setting the aspect ratio to 3:2 or anything. Then every selection rectangle will be 3:2 and you only have to decide how large to make the rectangle and where to put it. Then when you do the crop, you get a perfect 3:2 ratio photo. When you select the rectangular marquee tool (selection box) the Options line will appear just below the row of shorcut icons. If it does-not, click on the "Windows" button at the top of the page and make sure that "Options" has a check-mark beside it. On the Options line you will find a box that says "Normal". Click the "V" to the right of "Normal" and select "Fixed Aspect Ratio". Then in the two boxes to the right enter the numbers Width 3 and Height 2.
