Question about Televison & Video
This is a defect with-in the pre-scaler (pixel address) and or timing control circuit. Some people have tapped the back of the tv as a temporary fix to this problem. Though I wouldn't suggest that, you could damage or upset other sensitive circuits a cause a new problem.
If its not under an extended warranty have a tech come take a look at it.
