Sounds like you have a noisy connection or extension cable with a faulty plug/socket. Try cleaning the connector pins carefully with something like a little WD40, using cotton buds.

Try another phone in the socket. If it has the same problem then tell BT that there may be a 'line-fault'. They will investigate it for free.

What is the dial code for international calls from Hong Kong

STEP 1: FIRST YOU HAVE TO DECIDE WHERE ARE CALLING? I MEAN IN WHICH COUNTRY THEN IF YOU HAVE A PHONE DIRECTORY FIND THE CODE FOR THAT COUNTRY OR FIND IT FROM INTERNET SUCH FOR DAILING TO PAKISTAN WE HAVE TO DIAL 92 FIRST
STEP 2: FIND THE CODE OF THE CITY IN THAT COUNTRY TO WHICH YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE CALL
STEP 3: DIAL THE NUMBER AFTER DAILING COUNTRY CODE+CITY CODE(AREA CODE OF THAT CITY)
IF STILL UNSURE WHAT TO DO VISIT
http://timeanddate.com/worldclock/dialing.html?p2=102

BUT IF TO WANT TO CALL HONGKONG THEN

To call Hong Kong you will need to dial:

Push numbers whilst talking on phone

1. FYI, when your call is dailed through successfully - please pay attention as there are two instructions on the screen. It tells you to press which button for dailing and which to press to unlock the screen.

2. To answer your question: On the left hand side of the phone, there are 3 buttons. Press the button at the bottom below the volume up & down buttons. The dailing screen should come up.

This button is also used as a shortcut for changing profiles quickly in the main screen.

Not enough time to answer my phone before it goes to missed call

It may be set to divert calls to voicemail as a set delay.
This can be corrected.

Dail
##002#
Press the call button.

Should then display - "Requesting..."
Then Display - "Divert Cancelled"

Hope this works, best of luck.

Abdul Qayyum
