Warning light on constantly with engine running.Oil level is ok, engine starts & runs ok. 10 miles before this disconnected the Speedometer cable prior to checking speed sensor (faulty no speedo reading). 1. Are the two related & reconnection to the speed sensor turn the Yellow light off (this block connector awkward so rather not reconnect unless have to!) Looking @ the wiring diagram that this light only links to the ECU. Perhaps the speed sensor is ok & the speedometer unit failing, the yellow light being another failure? 2. Going to check all wiring to fuel & engine sensors for connection & wiring continuity next. 3. Take it to the bike shop to have the ECU read for error codes. Taking all into account, will it be ok to ride gently to the Bike shop?
SOURCE: Speedometer/indicator lights are not functioning
check for ground to these.ignition switch may need electrical cleaner spray.
SOURCE: engine cranks starts for a few seconds shuts off
have you checked the pump relay sounds like your relay is ready for a change
SOURCE: At 3500 rpm my throttle
There is a electrical connection on the secondaries of the fuel system. Try unplugging this connector. And see if the bike runs normal then.
