Question about Denon AVR-681 Receiver
I think it was hit by lighting while I was out of town. It was blinking in the stand-by mode and flashing "Power lock on". I got the Power lock off and now all I get is the blinking stand-by mode.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Hi, Press the B and the Mode buttons and then hit the power button. This should unlock the panel....it worked for me.

IF YOUR NOT USING A DENON IPOD DOCKING STATION IT WILL NOT FUNCTION CORRECTLY.
YOU CAN CONNCET OTHER TYPES OF IPOD DOCKING STATIONS BUT YOU WILL NOT HAVE CONTROL THROUGH THE DENON AND ONLY CONNECT THE AUDIO FOR THAT DOCKING STATION TO THE DENON AS ANOTHER SOURCE INPUT

Refer to the "Initialization of the Microprocessor" section of the manual (page 16 of the PDF version of the manual).
1) Turn the unit OFF using the On/Off switch (not the standby switch).
2) Depress both the Speaker A and B switches, and turn the Power ON.
3) The entire display should flash at 1-second intervals. The microprocessor should be reset, and the remote should be unlocked.
