If the problem is that who is receiving the call hear low volume and crackling noise, that is often a bad contact in the mocrophone soldering joints inside the phone.

If the mirophone inside your phone has moved you may also get a lower volume.

This phone has no options to set the mic volume on outgoing calls , therefore that is not a settings problem.

The phone must be taken apart to fix the problem.
After disassembling the mic soldering and wiring must be tested, and eventually re-soldered.

Being the phone new, call back the seller and get it replaced.

Hi

is the phone brand new? Can you get a replacement from your dealer and see if the same problem happens with it.

How to turn volume up for callers sound

You're going to do this during a call.

During the call,
  • You will press the "cid (up arrow)" or "pbk (down arrow)" buttons to display the current volume.
  • Then pressing either or those buttons again would bring the volume up or down of the caller/earpiece.
If you don't hear any difference, then the problem is most likely on the caller's end.
**I assume you have a phone that looks like the one displayed in image

The caller ID screen is so faint I can't read it. Is there a way to brighten it or change the contrast so I can read it?

. Press and hold the dial/menu button until "Options Menu" is shown in the display.
2. Use the up/down buttons to scroll through the options below, and press the dial/menu
button to select the desired option you wish to set:
• Set Language
• Local Area Code

• Set Flash Time
• LED Contrast

• Exit Options
3. Use the up/down buttons to adjust the setting, and press the dial/menu button to confirm

Handset problem

It sounds like you have a defective handset cord or handset. First, at your phone, switch your handset with another phones handset that you know for sure works. From your phone make a test call. If the caller can now hear you, the original handset from your phone is defective. If the caller still can not hear you, switch your handset cord with another handset cord from another phone that you know works. From your phone make another test call. If the caller can hear you, then your original handset cord is defective. You can purchase another handset cord from your local office supply store. Your phone uses a standard handset cord. It may be difficult to match the original color of your handset cord. Be sure to take your defective handset cord with you, so you can try to match the color. If the caller still does not hear you. Put your original handset and original handset cord back on your phone. Then plug your phone in to another wall jack, that you know works with another phone. The other phone needs to be an identical phone to yours (same number of buttons and same model number. The model number can be found under the phone). Wait approximately 90 seconds, sometimes longer, after you plug your phone into the other wall jack. Now, make another test call from your phone. If the caller can now hear you from your phone with it plugged into another working jack, then you have a defective station port or jack where your phone was originally plugged in at. If the caller still can not hear then you have a defective phone.

Yes it very well could be your phone lines and not the system. Call your provider and tell them you have low speech path on your lines. They will troublshoot it.

Make sure that you are speaking clearly, No joke, but more answers could be notified by your land line seller, they should tell you exactly how to fix it, or provide you with a new one.
