Question about Dell Latitude D630 PC Notebook
When i put a dvd or cd in the drive, nothing happens, when i click the drive open on the my computer screen, the computer freezes up until i eject the dvd/cd. on the device manager tab it says the device it working fine. what do i do? it was working fine before

Your drive is having problems reading the cd'/dvd's and is causing you computer to freeze, it may be a simple problem like the lens needs cleaning or you may need a new drive. If you open up the tray of the drive and have a look at the lens(may need a magnify glass for this) it may have some dust on it or maybe is scratched. you can use a cd cleaning disk or a cotton bud and some IPA isopropyl alcohol. If problem persist after cleaning you will need a new drive.
