Guitar with slider for Guitar Hero will not sync...
Ok, here is the deal. I am pressing the sync button on the guitar and the lights are just blinking instead of going in a circle like they are supposed to when you press the sync button. I have tried pressing the the sync on the guitar first then the xbox and vice versa. I just can't get the lights to show that they are syncing on the guitar no matter how many time i press the sync button, i have even taken out the batteries of the guitar. Reset the xbox and so forth. HELP! PS i got the guitar to do the sync on time when i first opened it but i hadn't pressed the sync on the xbox yet. ???
yes i have tried pressing the guitar and xbox sync at the same time. I think what is preventing it to sync up now is that my guitar will try to sync even though i press the sync button. the four lights where the power button is, just blink all at the same time. It doesn't scroll in a circle like it is supposed to on the guitar when you press the sync button on it.

Is this a for a Nintiendo Wii? If so you may need to sync your guitar with the Wii. There is a red
button in the front panel on your Wii and the guitar should have a red sync button. Depress the
red button on the Wii first then depress the button on your guitar. after a few seconds the lights
on your guitar should stop blinking and the guitar should be assigned to controller 1 through 4
once this happns the guitar should start working.
If the guitar is wireless you may need to do the same for other consoles. The guitar may need
to sync with the wireless interface that plugs into the console. The same method applies as
above but the sync button should be on the wirless plug for the controller that plugs into the
console.
That is a syncing Issue, Try this, it may take a few tries. Press the Sync button on the Xbox 360. Then press and Hold the sync button on you Guitar for 1 Second. The Xbox and Guitar Should Sync.
one make sure you plug in the wireless adapter first before turning the ps2 on
2) make sure the guitar is TURNED on, if it is you should see the red light on the guitar blinking
3) make sure that the guitar and wireless adapter are in sync, if they are not hold the adapter button down for at least 5 seconds and while still holding it done press any button on the guitar.
its work definitely....plz give feedback..thank you...have a nice day:)
the same problem happened to me, and i just pressed the sync buttons on the guitar and the wireless adaptor at the same time and let it sit. it started syncing fine after that. I hope i helped! :)
start the guitar hero game as you normally would. then take the remote that you are going to put into the first guitar and press the "home" button", this should bring up a screen that will allow you to connect another remote in the game, press the reconnect area and aim both remotes at the sensor and press the 1 and 2 button at the same time, exit this screen and then got multiplayer section of the game and you should be set. my 10 year old neighbor had to show me this. good luck..
ok, first disconnect all controllers, memory card and usb controllers, just plug the drum in the usb slot. Start up your guitar hero world tour game. The light should be solid on your usb connector. Press the button on the usb connector when it is solid. It will blink rapidly. Press the center button (PS Logo) on the drum kit once, wait about 2 or 3 seconds and press once more. Let the lights blink and when it is done, all the lights on the drum kit should be off except for the far left light. Then it is ready to go. I figured this out myself while I was on hold with tech support. good luck! I wish this post was here when I was trying to connect my drumkit! I spent over 2 hours trying to sinc it..... Im guessing due to needing batteries that your Guitar is the Wireless type ?!
Have you correctly Synchronised your Xbox 360 with the Guitar controller ?
to do this, Turn on the Xbox and Guitar press the round "sync" button on the bottom of the guitar, next to its Ethernet port, and also press the small round sync button on the Xbox 360 (located to the left of the memory slots on the front face) at the same time, the rings of light on both the Xbox and the guitar will Turn in a clockwise motion letting you know they are synching, after that the Xbox will assign the guitar to a controller slot. then it should work.
If this doesn't work then im afraid your guitar may have a faulty wireless chip, which would require you to get a replacement.
