Try restore ur system to factory default state when u purchased it as new u can do that as follows

from ur backup OS cd
or try this

BEFORE TURNING ON THE LAPTOP, press and hold the 0 (zero) button on the keyboard, then turn on the computer while holding the 0 (zero) button down. When the Toshiba logo screen appears, you can release the 0 key.

if the problem persists after this then i am 100% sure about hardware malfunction that is RAM problem kindly replace and check if it works or if u have two RAM chips installed try each one at a time to find the faulty one

Power connection to computer came out during shutdown yesterday. Today, turning on, it will not boot up.

You are going to need a clean boot up disk. You will have to get one mailed to you or you will have to use another computer to download one. This will get you back into a point that you can do a windows restore. This is going to get rid of all programs and start you fresh. I do, however, feel that you disk drive is going out or already shot. You should do a Chkdsk on it. (check disk). This will tell you if it is a hard drive error or not.

Operating system not found

Hi there. The thing that caused the shutdown is a software conflict. Go to the windows advanced option by pressing F8 key when you see the Dell Screen upon restart of the computer. Choose "Disable automatic Restart in system error" and press enter. That should fix your problem.

When i start my computer i keep going back to the message of " we apologize for the inconvenience but the window did not star successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have cause this" then...

Sounds like you have some corrupt files required for starting Windows. If "last known good configuration" will not work, I would suggest using any windows OEM disks that came with your computer to try to repair the startup files. If not, then you may have to either purchase a Windows OS disk, or pay to have it reinstalled.

The laptop tells me that one of the drivers is having a problem and it shuts down on its own.it is an hp nx 7300

It refers to the Drives not drivers. It simply means that your hard disk have a lot of floating data files due to improper shutdown or hardware failure. So, to resolve this, windows shuts down to prevent further damage.

When windows open, open My computer. Right click on your Drive C and click properties. Click TOOLS Tab and Click CHECK NOW. Then schedule a thorough check.

Windows shut down to prevent damage

You need to boot your system into Safe Mode by pressing F8 just before the Windows startup screen loads, once in Safe Mode do a system restore to a previous date to when your system was working.

This should sort out your problem.

Try tapping the F5 or F8 key (could be either one) right after you power up. This should take you to a short text message with a couple of choices to continue; you'll find the Safe Mode option there.

Blue screen w/msg: A promblem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

Youre probably going have to restore it. By doing that if there is a hardware issure it should be obvious by the installation process.

Sometimes a video card can go bad and cause this to happen. If you have another card laying around the house you might want to swap them and see if thats the case.

For solving blue screen error

HP Notebook PCs - "Windows Unsafe or Sudden Shutdown" Blue Screen Error Occurs During Startup or Boot

Description
Windows XP may not start and the following error message may appear on a blue screen:
Windows Unsafe or Sudden Shutdown
This error occurs after Windows was not shutdown using a safe method. The notebook may have been turned off without clicking Shut Down or briefly pressing the computers Power button. The power may have been suddenly disconnected from the computer or the Power button may have been held for more than 5 seconds.
An unsafe shutdown can damage some of the Windows system files, preventing the computer from starting properly.
Solution
If the error occurs allow the operating system to complete a check of the hard disk. Windows will prompt your to run CHKDSK. CHKDSK scans the hard drive for damaged files and repairs the files if necessary. The scan may take up to an hour depending on the size of the hard drive and the number of damaged files. The computer will restart when the scan is complete and Windows should start normally.
If Windows will not start or the computer will not boot after the scan is complete see: HP Notebook PCs - Troubleshooting a Startup or No Boot Problem (In English)
